We are often asked what we need in terms of practical items. So here is our list of things needed right now or regularly.

40 Days of Giving

Please drop off your donations at the Crypt Care Centre, preferably between 9 AM and 4 PM, when we have a reception in operation.

Non-perishable food for Residents

• Coffee – instant granules: Nescafé, shops' own brand, etc.

• Sugar

• Tinned meats: meatballs, hot dogs, corned beef, etc.

• Tinned tuna

• Soup

• Baked beans

• Tinned tomatoes

• Tinned vegetables

• Pasta sauces

• Gravy granules

• Custard powder

• Tinned fruit

• Cereal

• Long life milk

Residents: clothing, toiletries and bedding

The following items are needed on a regular basis:

• Track Suit Bottoms: Sizes small and medium are needed on a daily basis for clients who require a change of clothes. Many clients experience injuries or infections in their legs and need comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.

• Hoodies/Fleeces: Sizes small and medium are preferred. These items provide practical, comfortable, and warm clothing.

• Boxer Shorts: Needed in sizes small, medium, and large.

• Rucksacks: A basic necessity for carrying personal belongings. Most clients currently use carrier bags or bin liners.

• Waterproof Jackets: Lightweight waterproof jackets are needed to wear over clothing to keep clients dry.

• Razors/Shaving Gel: Clients frequently request decent quality razors to manage long-term hair growth, especially when utilizing our shower facilities.

• Deodorant Spray: Brands such as Lynx, Sure, and non-branded options are acceptable.

• Towels: Large bath or shower towels are required in new or gently used condition.

Each year, we provide approximately 42,200 beds throughout our services to address various needs. A £50 donation can help us expand our services for homeless and vulnerable people in Leeds.

Wellbeing
£100

We offer health and wellbeing services to homeless individuals, including opticians, physiotherapy, dental care, and clothing. A £100 donation helps us expand these services.
