Working for the Crypt can provide insight into who you are

Working for St. George’s Crypt can provide a real insight into who you are, and is a real test of character. Our clients are exceptionally vulnerable with chaotic lives.

Tia one of our Duty Room staff is not fazed by it all. She says:

“It’s a one-time opportunity, I think I have learned a lot about myself as well. I have learned to forgive and I think that’s a big part of why I love it here. I don’t take things personally anymore. Addiction is real and it’s an illness and once it’s got a hold of you it’s hard to get off it.

A huge thank you to our frontline staff. They have to deal with the same personal challenges we all have to bear with, but they continued to work tirelessly to make sure not one of our clients was left behind.

Thank you too, to the people of Leeds who have supported us through the years, we couldn’t have done it without you! Please Donate HERE:
