Skills Training Work started in the Crypt in September 2002. Financial supporters have included - European Social Fund, Global Grants and the Joseph Rank Trust.
In the current year, courses are concentrated on Basic Food Hygiene, offered in the context of our weekly Community Café, operating each Friday at 12 noon, excellent meals are prepared by students at very nominal rates. Students aim to produce a portfolio of meals over the eight week course, leading to an examination in Basic Food Hygiene.
Discussions are currently taking place with other agencies to develop further courses, particularly of a vocational nature.
