Our work - Charity Shop

Charity shops

Our first charity shop on Roundhay Road in Oakwood, Leeds opened in 2004.

We are pleased to announce our second shop opened on 27 August 2011 on Armley Town Street.

As a charity we are totally dependant on the generousity of the public and supporters of the Crypt, who provide much needed quality donations from ladies and mens clothing to other popular items such as bric a brac and accessories. Our aim is  to supply good quality stock in a Christian, friendly and helpful environment at competitive prices.

We have  an amazing team of volunteers, some of whom have been at our Oakwood shop since it opened over 7 years ago.  We also have a great team of youngsters taking their first steps on the job ladder. This  mix of age and experience provides a happy and helpful environment to shop. and a great place to work.  We are always looking for new volunteers to join our happy team. To find out more please contact the Crypt or the shop direct.

We encourage our customers to tell us what they are looking for,  as our stock changes from day to day and items often turn up when we  least expect them. We have items as diverse as skis, African art, luggage.  There are no two days the same.

We recently introduced a vintage section which is proving very popular, especially with the young ones.

As our Armley shop is much larger than Oakwood, we are able to sell furniture there too.

Our customers tell us that they enjoy the shopping experience with us. They find the volunteers and staff very helpful and friendly   Why not pop in and see for yourselves.

Both shops are open Monday to Saturday 9am  - 5pm
