Give thanks to God for the successful application to the Government’s Places of Change Programme.
We are due to receive £988,569 to do a further major refurbishment which will allow us to devote much more space for client activity, and to carry out a wide range of skills programmes which will lead more clients to volunteering and employment opportunities.
Pray for the Design Team which is charged with putting the plans into operation. Also pray for the remainder of the funding - both capital and revenue - required to complete the refurbishment.
Give thanks for our continued contact with Ian Robins (son of Don Robins) and Tony Waite (Don’s successor as Vicar). It is a joy that both of them are so eager to hear of our progress at the Crypt - and also they have both recently carried out talks about the Crypt in their local communities.
Pray for the Crypt’s Parliamentary Reception taking place in May in the House of Commons. Give thanks for the opportunity to profile our work to MPs and other people of influence.
Give thanks for the continuing good will towards the Crypt’s plans to develop the Next Step project - providing over 20 places for clients who have recovered from alcohol addiction.
