The project provides outstanding care and assistance to residents with the aim of encouraging them to cut down on alcohol consumption and gain control of their lives, whilst improving their physical and emotional well-being.
Residents are permitted to drink alcohol in communal areas of the house between 07:30 and 21:30 under supervision to create a safe environment to drink in moderation. The house is staffed 24 hours a day for intense support. Residents are encouraged to engage with services such as healthcare professionals and Forward Leeds.
Each resident has the privacy of their own bedroom as well as sharing other facilities - bathrooms, dining areas and TV lounges. Three meals a day are available for residents and games nights are hosted weekly. Residents are encouraged to participate in daily cleaning tasks and cooking where applicable. Staff arrange day trips to local places of interest, depending on suitable funding.
Residents who are ready to move into their own accommodation are supported fully in preparation for a successful move. A referral form can be emailed or posted to you. Alternatively, you can download a referral form below.
