There are many ways in which your company or business can become involved with St George’s Crypt and support our work.
Have a look at the information below. If you’d like to know more or want to arrange a visit, please contact our Lead Fundraiser, Cheryl Harrington, on 07887 564519 or email email@example.com
Charity of the Year
Adopt St George’s Crypt as your Charity of the Year. This is a great way to have all your staff working towards one goal. We value our partnerships and will support you all the way in your fundraising efforts.
Sponsorship is a two way partnership where both parties will benefit. Would you like to put your name to one of our projects? Have your name displayed as a proud partner of St George’s Crypt, generating positive publicity and brand awareness whilst raising vital funds for the charity.
Fundraising Events & Sponsored Challenges
We have a calendar of fundraising events your company may want to get involved in, whether this is having a table at a charity dinner, or entering individual staff members in the Leeds 10k. We have team events such as the quiz night and Crypt 7’s football tournament... All great for team building!
Have a look on our events page or give us a call for more information.
Holding raffles, bake sales, dress down days / dress “up” days, sell “go home early” vouchers. The list is endless and can be lots of fun. A happy workforce is a productive one!
Volunteering at events
Our fundraising events (usually at weekends) need extra bodies to make sure they run smoothly. Events include: football tournament, murder mystery dinner, quiz night, summer fayres and galas, and supermarket collections. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
Collections in the workplace
Throughout the year there are always things we need at the Crypt to help us provide our services. By collecting at your work place, you could really help us.
* Cash collection towards specific items, e.g a Z bed, dishwasher, washing powder, and so the list goes on!
* Clothing: warm jumpers and trousers for the clients, and new underwear.
* Re-saleable items for our charity shops: clothing brick a brac and furniture
* Food: non-perishable items such as tinned meat, veg and soups
* Unwanted gifts: excellent for us to use on tombola stalls
Pro bono work
We sometimes need specialist help. An example of some of the areas are: consultancy; legal advice or training. Could you give occasional support?
A very simple and tax-free way of giving through your salary. For more details, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Corporate volunteering days
We have opportunities for small teams to come into the Crypt to help with the day-to-day running, food preparation and serving, housekeeping etc. There are some jobs which are more popular, and we reserve these for our Charity of the Year Partners.
